You may have noticed that I added a donations button for those that would like to show their support to keep The Far Reaches going. As a little thank you, there’s a couple desktop wallpapers if you donate.

Also, I’ve redone the ebooks somewhat. You may notice the ad on the upper left sidebar. If you’ve already bought the previous ebook graphic novel from DrivethruComics, then there’s nothing really new except the titles and covers. They are, however, completely updated from the ebooks that were available on Wowio and Lulu last year. At any rate, I’ve decided to break them up into four issues rather than one big ebook. That’ll make it easier when it comes time to do chapter five, which is nearly done. I’ll just have to color all those ugly black and white pages for the ebook.

The first one is available at now at DriveThruComics.com for the amazingly affordable sum of $0.99. So there’s another way you can show your support for TFR to help me keep the comic going and get something cool in the process. I’ll be uploading the other three issues in the next couple days. Just as the previous graphic novel ebook, these contain a new beginning, and I’ve gone back and fixed some of the early art and word balloons and added extra content not available online. But the nicest thing is that PDFs are simply way easier to read than trying to read the whole story online with all the page load times and low resolution. They feature much higher res art and you can read them on any device that can read PDFs like your iphone (at least I’m pretty sure it has a PDF reader) or PDA. For these updated issues I’ve done a new logo and new covers that my sister and I think are much more engaging and fun than the old covers. So please check them out if you like.

And again, thank you to everyone who continues to hang in there with TFR. I had a rough time recently with my health, but I’m doing much better and am determined to get back on track, a little at a time. Of course the best way you can support TFR is by telling all your friends about it, and link to it and talk about it on your blogs and livejournals and so on. That’s really the best help you can give and it costs nothing at all. So a big thank you to all you readers who stuck with me through my trials.
