Sorry about having no comic up, but it’s been a crazy busy day today, and I was only able to get as far as the rough sketches and layout. And I’m not really happy with them, but hopefully I can make them look better during inking. Also, I had to rework the whole half page thing a bit. Last Friday’s page was a little too long and there wasn’t room for the next page so I had to do a little tweaking. Interestingly, I found out that you can fit two 800×600 (0r 4:3 ratio) comics, top and bottom, into a standard comic page. When the new site is online I might actually use that size. We’ll see.
And technically, this sketch is probably funnier than the actual page, which will be more of a set up to the (hopefully) good stuff. Normally I like to get stuff done on the weekend and on Monday, but working on the new site design took up all my time. We should be able to make some good progress on it this weekend, however. But I should be able to finish the actual comic by Wednesday afternoon. The comic after it involves some tricky 3d work, so I don’t know how long that will take. That’s the big problem with 3d. It looks really cool but the setup can be time-consuming. But enough of all that. Hopefully, you’ll at least like the silly sheep sketch. I probably won’t leave it up in the archives as it kind of ruins the flow of the story, but I’ll post a link to it later if any wants me to.
