No GravatarAfter some suggestions, I’ve made a few changes to the poster/wallpaper design. You may want to vote again to see the difference. There’s actually two designs I’ve put up. I’m actually leaning toward the top one, but I don’t know. Actually, while I like both designs in their own way, neither one is quite right at this point. So, any feedback would be appreciated. I’ll probably continue to tinker with them.

I like the lower one better. Gilrec and Bentley are more in the focus and Bentley’s hand not longer seems to be disconnected.
Binder looks a bit rough but I suppose it is due to sketch nature of picture ^_^

And… I’m not sure (after all I’m not an artist ^_^”) but might be it is will be a good thing to add that Omnipresent Sense Of Impending Doom somewhere or cute little drink with unbrella stick?

Ow, and the question… will all those characters like Binder and Brin be in character list?

Thanks again for all your input. I do like the dynamic nature of the lower one. I think I know what you mean about the impending doom, like the overshadowing dark evil character, or something. Thats a good idea, but I’m not how I would add it to this composition. I could try a few things and see how it comes out. I could possible have Bentley holding a cute drink with an umbrella instead of the pirate flag. That might be cool. I’ll play around with it.

As to your question, Binder and Brin should be in the character page, as should the uncle. I really should do that. Thanks for reminding me :)

Actually, when I was talking about Omnipresent Sense of Impending Doom I meant this page

And the dog from it ^_^”
I mean, you can try to add recognizable big glowing eyes in the darkness and some ear ribbons and some dark but not completely dark shadows – like a cape or evil wings – slightly above and at edges (or behind) of the picture. Er… hard to explain this, sorry -_- But, like, you know, in some movie pictures when evil guy is watching his enemies from the shadows.

P.S. Funny, for some time I was thinking that “Impending Doom” was a nickname for that dog :)

I like to make input if I’m able to. Just because I’m not an artist it is not much -_-
And I really like you comic a lot (and I mean really a lot) more that Inverloch or some top others.

    Cheers ^_^

Ooooooh, that sense of doom :) Yes, it does seem silly not to have him in the poster. Now I know exactly what you mean. Yes, we haven’t seen Wellington in too long. I’m not sure how to add him, but I’ll play around with it. And thank you for your kind comments. I’m really glad you like the comic.

I like the lower sketch better. The characters are more proportinally sized and I feel there is a better symmetry to the sketch overall. As for the space ship, I preferred the old sketch, where it was up higher. Perhaps in the background zooming across the top of the page? But that really depends on how you plan to design the overall background.

Thanks for the input. I think you’re right about the ship. It would look better higher up. I’ll mess about with it Wednesday when I have some time. Most likely I’ll put up another couple of versions for comparison.
