Okay, the whole Monday/Wednesday/Friday thing just wasn’t happening. I managed it one week, but there’s just no way I can put out three comics every week. So the best schedule seems to be every Tuesday and Friday afternoon. I’ll try to have it done in the morning, but my life is so, how shall I say, very difficult to stick to a definite schedule. It’s too unpredictable, that’s the word I wanted. Actually, I’ll just be happy if I can put out two full pages a week, period, and if I get them nailed down to Tuesdays and Fridays, all the better. For one thing, I’m simplifying things so that it’s possible to finish them on time. That considered, I think page 174 came out pretty good. Nothing fancy, but it works okay. More importantly, the story moves on. Oh, and when I say afternoon, I’m talking Pacific Time (I think -8 GMT).
Anyway, Tuesday’s and Friday’s have worked out well for me in the past, so I think I’ll be able to stick to it. Now if we can just finish up this whole chase thing with Brin and Pix, that’s the big challenge right now. Friday’s page will be the continuation of page 174 with Gilrec and Bentley. Then I’ll try to get to the climax of the chase scene. I’m not sure how many pages it will take yet. I want it to be good when you read it in book form, but I don’t want it to drag on forever on the web. So there has to be a balance there. It’s hard because the chase sequence is like the big climax for the graphic novel. And those of you who’ve downloaded the ebooks and read the story as it was intended know that it just flows better in that sort of format. But as long as I can put out two full pages a week, the story will go a bit faster.
