Here’s some character sketches I was working on. The one on the right is Andry Bolt-Upright and we’ll be meeting her in TFR shortly. The character on the left is Captain Rockie Bedlam, and she’s the main character in my new comic, assuming I ever get to sitting down and doing it. I can’t decide, should it be a black and white strip or simple color or like TFR. I don’t know. It’s the comic I was thinking of doing for Zuda, but I’m still not convinced I want to sell my IP to DC comics. So it remains in a state of cryogenic brain freeze. I actually did do some test comics here. I’ve got a new story and more background and new cool characters, but I just can’t take the plunge yet. But enjoy the sketches. (They’re pretty rough. I haven’t had a chance to clean them up or anything. But I thought I’d share anyway.)

Kinda skinny at the waist. The thighs are bigger than the waist. And for the Captain, the horizontal lines above the waist just emphasies how skinny she is. And, for some reason the Captain does not look feminine at all.
Yeah they are really skinny. I was going for kind of a Ben Caldwell cartooning style with their figures as it’s way easier to draw. This sketch of the Captain isn’t my best. I think the inked version is slightly better but I’m still working on the look. Although if I do it for Zuda, as I’m thinking then I’ll use a somewhat more realistic style. Thanks for the input as always.
