One of my favorite t-shirt sayings was a Megatokyo shirt that said “Without Angst their is no art.” Or something like that. I think that was one of the influences in this strip. I never got that shirt as it was kind of expensive but it pretty much sums it up for me.
And often I think I feel like this rampaging android artist with realistic mood swings. I’m just biding my time for my rocket launchers. They’re razzle-dazzle.
I’ve been reading these great books on writing. I need to post about them because they bring the light why I haven’t finished anything, or indeed started anything lately. Look for the post on Save the Cat!

Came here on a lark, wondered what’s been going on. How did the game idea turn out?
TFR was one of the comics that got me hooked on webcomics. The comic had good art work, a strong cast, and a sense of feel good humor that made you come back for more so It does the heart good to see new comics on the TFR site again. Even if they arn’t actually new and technically they arn’t TFR, but still…
I look forward to seeing more TFR or LFTV in the future, whether they be in comic or vidiot game form.
Hi DH and Targiet! Nice to hear from you. I’m glad you’re enjoying the little LFTV strips. I only had a few that I did and then ran out of story ideas. But at least it’s something.
As for my game, I FINALLY came up with a short story I like. It’s so far got potential for good character development and an interesting story. It’s not TFR but another version of a LFTV story. The nice thing about the title Legends from the Void is that it encompasses all kinds of scifi stories.
I also really want to rewrite TFR and strengthen the story and characters and make a single graphic novel with the whole story. That’s my other project I’ve been playing with.
I’ve mostly been studying writing and creating stronger characters with not only an A Plot that’s the main physical story, but a strong B Plot that’s the main character’s inner growth or “spiritual” journey.
As for the game engine it’s basically done. My big hold up has been writing a good story that I like. But I think I’m on the right path to make a good one.
