I definitely read too much Terry Pratchett and such things. I don’t know why, but when I was writing this one I just kept thinking of some of these characters that talk like that. Maybe like they’d been having a bit too much. It just seemed to fit the pirate for some reason. This is also one of those comics where I didn’t have a lot of time to spend on it so the background is really simple. But I think it came out ok.
This comic marks my being a week and a half ahead on my buffer as I finished it on the 9th.
I like the security bot. Heh.
Thanks. Originally I drew him as a taller, skinny, more typical robot. But first he wouldn’t fit in the narrow panels, and second this design went better with the gag as he seems like such a little guy and his gun is bigger than he is.
