Finally we’re properly going to get into Brin and Pix’s storyline. I wasn’t able to do it before because I really wanted end the Gilrec/Vellara/Snow planet story line because I thought it’d be the perfect end to the graphic novel. But now we can go back and forth properly and develop both new story lines.
This one was heavily influenced by the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. I was listening to the audiobook several times and wanted to have more of that random loony feel to it. Thus the fun explanatory captions. I’ve actually been wanting to do that for a while but the new format just makes it easier to do.
Yay, we’re back to Brin!!!!
Yup! And I’m going to try not to stay on any one storyline for too long without going back and forth. That way we can keep up with both.
Can’t wait to see who she’s gonna shoot …

@Aeolian: Thanks! I have a confession to make about the asteroids. I only drew two unique ones in Flash, made them symbols, and then just copied, rotated, resized, and distorted them to make a couple clusters. Then I copied and scaled and rotated the clusters until I had a nice field. But I did the field in layers in Photoshop so that I could shade and highlight them individually to give them depth. I think it came out really nice and didn’t really take that long to do. I’m such a cheat
