Well, here’s the climax of the falling saga. For those that missed the “falling off a skyscraper” conversation you can find it here. Odd how these things work out. It actually seems like I foreshadowed the falling off from way back in page 210. How brilliant, right? No, not really. I’m a hack. It was a happy accident. The thrill issue line was my sisters. That’s my favorite. And thanks to Riverfox, we have Gilrec plastered to Mad’s windshield. Originally Mad flew up to him while he was falling. But I really like this much better. Anyway, hope you enjoy it.
[Edit: I'm really liking how these colors turned out this time. It's a really nice look and only took about two and a half hours to color. The old way took maybe four.]
If I’m falling, I don’t think I have time to say the word “really”. Methinks my words would be short, clipped, fast, and to the point. “Yeahthatsgreat. Thinkyoucouldhomeinonmyecom? Like Right Now! I…!!!”
As near as I can tell from a quick net search, on Earth you fall about a mile every 30 seconds, after your first 10 seconds of speeding up.

The chibi panel where they’re all screaming in the middle CRACKS ME UP. Best. Panel. EVER. I keep looking at it again just so I can laugh at their expressions. XD

It turned out to be one of my favorite pages (my mom and sister’s too), and I was beginning to wonder if anyone actually thought it was funny. So I’m glad you liked it so much. And thanks for your idea. I made it much funnier.

I definitely agree that the scene is much funnier this way than if he had just been caught in the car, so I’m glad you made the change! That’s what’s so great about this comic: you manage to have a really good, interesting plot while still inserting funny, random, or slapstick moments and details in a way that compliments it instead of taking away from the story. I’m so glad everybody liked it. And I managed to get the expression pretty good, I think. I had to take screen captures of a scene from Titan AE where he is smooched up against glass to help me figure out how to draw it.
XD I love Titan A.E. Good place to reference from for this kind of thing!
