Just realized I didn’t get the quote quite right. It’s “wretched hive”, although I meant the made up villainosity. There’s also a Python reference. Anyway, we’ll find out about Gilrec next page.
I had the most insane time trying to tone this. Wasted so much time experimenting I might as well had colored the thing. I finally gave up and posted as is. I don’t know. I want to stick to three days a week, but I don’t want to spend forever on each page. We’ll see how it goes next time.
Personally, my vote is for “three comics a week” over “color comics every time.” The black and white posts are visually interesting in and of themselves, and advance the storyline (and punchlines) along well.
I would love to see maybe one color and two b/w strips a week.
Lovin’ the strip though, it’s one of only a handful of webcomics I follow (others being “In His Likeness,” “Three Panel Soul” and up till recently “Comedity”

Some of us actually enjoy black-and-white artwork. I know we’re a minority, and the other folks look at us funny, but we’re here!

Yes, black and white art has it’s place if I can just get it to where I like it. I’ll keep experimenting. But I’m glad you like it.
