Yay! All done despite this stupid cold. I decided to do the use 3d for the snowy mountains. I’m not really very fond of inking outdoor scenery. Sometimes it’s better to keep it simple, but doing snowy mountains in Vue 6 looks nice and takes less time. I really don’t enjoy painting mountains. The car would have taken much too long to make a finished 3d model. I did use a simple model and rotoscope it. But it all comes down to what will look the best without taking forever to do. I would have finished yesterday, but I’m a wimp with a cold. I had thought of skipping this scene, but I love a chance to do a bit of parody. And the majority polled wanted to see what happened with the snow scene. But I will try to keep it as short as I can manage.
For those who’d like to see how Gilrec got in this mess, you can go here.

Ha… I love the hat “Die Trying”. That would be great to have on the slopes.
Die trying… he must be lucky
Why isn’t Bentley doing something? And why does Gilrec, after all he’s gone through, have a sheep on his hat? So many questions…
…And I agree, Mad’s hat is awesome.
Don’t worry, Bentley will do something, but you have to read the stuff I linked to see how Gilly got captured. Bentley was still back at the top of the mountain. As for the sheep on his hat, he had that in the original snow scene so I put it here. Gilrec in chapter one has a thing for sheep motifs in his clothes.
But yeah, I love Mad’s hat. It totally sums him up.
Yup! This is one trip I don’t think Gilrec will be forgetting for a long time!
That’s for sure!
But as suggested by last strip, Bentley’s just that fast.
Ah, but will even Bentley be prepared for the horrors to come?
I mean, he will, of course. But we got to make it suspenseful.
I’m noticing a posting pattern cropping up… One non-MrGreen, three MrGreens, one non-MrGreen, three MrGreens.
that’s funny. I do love the MrGreen. It’s my favorite. Just this big happy-looking toothy grin.
Of course with that being sad, I now Can’t post a MrGreen. To do so would be to perpetuate the ‘pattern’ (of course, the fact that I therefore have to not do so still means I’m letting you control my response, but I digress).
Either way, I totally see a mess of good spoof/para-quotes here. Not that they aren’t obvious, but even if they don’t show up, I’m definitely looking forward to see how Gilrec gets out of (or should it be “is gotten out of”?) this latest conundrum.
