[Comic 208] Defensive Pastry Maneuvers

No GravatarThis was originally supposed to be several pages and a lot more drawn out, but after sketching a while I decided that this was best. Originally, I was going to have Koda acrobatically dodge pastry in “custard-time”. I knew how I wanted it to look, but after drawing the sketches for this page I felt that it was (a) unnecessary, and (b) I was too lazy to draw it. It was also kind of silly. Besides, I just want to get this over with and get on to the next part.

Still, I like how this page sums up the end, especially how Gilrec gets proactive in a way.

Frak totally venerated those apes!

  2. Faticia

    Go Gilrec!!!

  3. Outlandish

I know, it’s about time he stands up for himself.

  4. SEA

    Custard pie fail

  5. TheDeepDark

Gilrec attacks! And hey, despite the lack of anyone else realizing, it actually worked!

  6. OverStood

If there’s one thing you can do, you can write a story, and some great dialogue. :P

“Easy Man, just back away from the pie.”
    (I love pie)

    Love it!

    Keep it up! ^_^

Thanks! You can actually thank my sister for the “back away from the pie” line. We were riffing on the idea and the sketches. I almost forgot to put it in.

I would love some pie right now. Or maybe some Ben and Jerrry’s.

  8. Kriz

He hit Vellara with that pie? This is gonna get ugly …

  9. Outlandish

Not if he gets out before she she’s who’s done it. Although, he’d better hurry

  10. William

Did anyone notice all the ape musician ganging up on Frak? That the standard ninja/goon attack pattern.

I love Gilrec proactivily and the dialogue is brilliant!

    Thanks!

This page had a bit of Samurai Jack influence with the apes.
