Yay, it’s back in color. I had some extra time and it went pretty well. I kept the page simple too and that helps. I love the monster with the evening dress and tiara. That’s actually something from the muppets.

Poor Gilrec! I can’t tell who she’s talking to either.
When you said “the monster with the evening dress and tiara,” I looked to see if Gilrec’s fiancee had a tiara. ^.^
Gilrec has no luck with small animals, does he? Or is this just the inverse of the fluffy-animal-sidekick thing?
Maybe it is. Of course, it doesn’t help him that all the animals he meets are evil.
I hope you aren’t implying that cats are evil… I like cats. :/
Of course not. My sister loves cats too. I’m actually allergic but I was very fond of our hairless cat we had before it died. Poor thing was always sick. But technically Wellington is kind of like a dog, and he’s pretty evil too. I think if poor Gilrec was to meet a hamster, it would probably try to kill him. It’s just the way things always go for the poor guy.
My vote’s she’s talking to the cat.
The cat has a grin like the Cheshire-Cat.
I’d say she’s probably talking to the cat too.
It does have a Cheshire-cat kind of grin. I was designing her and started with an evil look, but then I like how she came out. She has this wild, energetic, “I’m not evil, I always like to jump on people’s heads cause it’s fun” sort of look to her. She’s a very happy cat.
Maybe the common evil animal element here is the evil owner’s influence. Kind of like how people choose animals that remind them of themselves.
