The Far Reaches Webcomic

Well, the big chase is finally over, more or less, and we’re nearing the end of chapter four. Just a few pages to go. One of the nice things about 3d is that it’s easy to reuse or clone a model, such as the police. I had this ending image in mind since I decided to do the flying chase scene, and I’m pretty happy with how the whole chase scene turned out. It’ll be a nice climax and set-piece to the graphic novel. Even so, I’m kind of glad it’s over and we can continue on with new developments to the story. That means new stuff to model in 3d, but I won’t take forever doing it like before. The most important factor is to keep the story going on time.

Before when I had these bug-guys talk it was in an alien font, and you can just see the hint of the alien language in the first couple balloons. Yet there was so much dialog, I felt it would be easier to read if I enclosed it in <angle brackets> to show it’s in another language like in Megatokyo. It’s just easier on the eyes that way.
