No GravatarThis is a render I did for the next page, but so far I haven’t had the time to work on it. I spent most of this week working on the story for my next project (hopefully a paying project so it has some priority). I’ve finished the first draft of the plot outline, and worked out the rough character bios. I’ve also scripted up to page nine. With that and other things I’ve just been really busy this week, but I don’t want you to think I’ve forgotten about TFR completely.

As for this second project, I’ve decided to script the whole thing out first before I do anything else with it. One of the biggest problems I had with Far Reaches is that I’ve only been going from a rough outline in my head and some notes, and then I’ve just scripted a few pages at a time as I go along. And it really shows. It’s such a rough draft of a work. So with this new project I want to script the whole thing first and then go back and polish and rework it a bit, adding more character development and humor and fixing things while they’re just text. It’s so much easier to change text then it is comic pages. It’s also a much more manageable sized story, still pretty epic, but not as expansive as TFR.

Anyway, I’ll try to work on TFR on Saturday so that at least the story continues. I am sorry for leaving you high and dry in the middle of such a major scene.

Most appropriate rendering, but where are the spaceships? They’re either missing, or small and on top of the landing platforms in an angle that we can’t see.

Too bad you start this project right when the story gets even more interesting. Still, don’t feel like I’m complaining or anything – money is important. Good luck with that paid project, but don’t forget to make TFR updates!

Thanks. I know, it’s just starting to get interesting, but I need to work toward something that’ll pay a few bills. I am working on the next page today, though.

You realize how desperately this scene wants to be a wallpaper, don’t you?

that’s a good idea. I’ll have to make one. Too bad the scene won’t actually be in the comic page. I’ve had to change from my original layout. But maybe I’ll use it later on.

    Thanks!
