Well, I’ll be off to the Baltimore Comic-Con when this goes up. I’m pretty happy I was actually able to get two comics done this week seeing as I’ll be out of town. If you’re going to be at the Con, I’ll be at Artist Alley table 20 with limited copies of Far Reaches graphic novel in print, and some cool posters. I’ll also be doing original art. So come say hi.

I do wonder what would happen to him eventually
Lol, what Mallidon is saying in Panel 2 makes no sense whatsoever, symbolically or no.
I have a sneaking suspicion that was your intention
You kinda got the mood perfect for the “Calm before the storm” cliche.

I’m ITCHING to find out what happens x_X
Nice job, I’m forever hooked.
Well, you knew that.
Good job.
“climb a higher sky-scraper” Yeah, that’ll help. Sure.
I have no idea how Mad Mallidon survived this long with an outlook like that… Luck of the fool?
I suppose, if it’s worked for him all this time, it’s a pretty good worldview.
Mad Mallidon is mad and kinda domineering, but you can’t deny he’s a good friend to our hero.
Love teh comic, btw. Keep up the good job here!
Yes, the skyscraper metaphor is a bit, well, mad. But no one could call him a thrill seeking extremist…Because that’s probably a little too mild.
But I like this scene because as crazy as he can be, Gilrec really needed someone like Mad who genuinely cares to tell him to stand up for himself and stop being a defeatist and start taking action. I love Mad because he’s one of the few of Gilly’s friends that really does care, even if his methods are a bit sanity-challenged.
And thanks for all your comments, BTW. As for what comes next, well that depends on the vote. It’ll either be the snow monster or the speech. And after that, well…well…um, you’ll just have to wait and see. But I will say that things will not be subtle.
